AI Assistants · MCP

MCP Server for AI Assistants

Add to Claude Code

The server is hosted at https://mcp.ibanchecker.cash/mcp, so there is nothing to install. One command:

claude mcp add --transport http ibanchecker https://mcp.ibanchecker.cash/mcp

Add to Claude Desktop

Add the following to your Claude Desktop config file (~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json on macOS):

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "ibanchecker": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": ["-y", "mcp-remote", "https://mcp.ibanchecker.cash/mcp"]
    }
  }
}

Run locally over stdio (npm)

Prefer running the server on your own machine instead of the hosted endpoint? The package is published as @ibanchecker/mcp. Any MCP client that launches a stdio command can use it directly:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "ibanchecker": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": ["-y", "@ibanchecker/mcp"],
      "env": { "IBANCHECKER_API_KEY": "iban_..." }
    }
  }
}
Client Libraries

One official client per language

Each one wraps the same five operations with typed results and typed errors, and keeps the untouched response body alongside them, so a field added to the API later is reachable without waiting for a client release.

A malformed IBAN comes back as a result with valid set to false, never as a thrown error. All six are free and MIT licensed.

REST API

All integrations are built on top of the same REST API. If you need full control (custom validation logic, server-side use, bulk processing), use the API directly from any language or platform.
