This page lists every cookie and every piece of browser storage ibanchecker.cash uses, what each one is for and how long it lasts.

No advertising or tracking cookies.

We set cookies only when you sign in, and our analytics sets none. We do not show ad-network ads, use tracking pixels, or run analytics that profiles you. Some links to Wise are partner links; see Partner links below.

Cookies We Set

Both are strictly necessary for signing in, are sent only to ibanchecker.cash, and cannot be read by scripts on the page.

__Secure-better-auth.session_token

Keeps you signed in to the dashboard. Set only when you sign in.

Lifetime: Up to seven days, renewed while you use the dashboard; removed when you sign out

__Secure-better-auth.state

Protects a Google or GitHub sign-in against cross-site request forgery. Set only during that sign-in.

Lifetime: Five minutes

What We Keep in Your Browser Instead

A few preferences live in your browser’s localStorage. This is not a cookie: it stays on your device, is never sent to us, and remains until you clear it.

Cloudflare Infrastructure Cookies

As our hosting provider, Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies for security and DDoS mitigation (for example __cf_bm). Cloudflare’s network sets them, not ibanchecker.cash, and they do not track your activity across websites. For details, see Cloudflare’s Cookie Policy.

Analytics Without Cookies

We use two Cloudflare services for statistics. Neither sets a cookie.

• Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views and page speed. It records the page path, the referring site, your country, browser, operating system and device type. Its script stores nothing in your browser and reads no cookies or storage, and Cloudflare discards your IP address at its edge.
• Workers Analytics Engineruns on our server and counts API outcomes: whether a validation passed or which check failed, the IBAN’s country code, and whether bank details were found. It never records the IBAN, your IP address or your key.

Neither builds a profile of you or follows you across websites.

Partner links

Links marked as partner links to Wise go through Partnerize (wise.prf.hn), Wise’s affiliate tracking provider. When you click one, Partnerize sets a cookie on its own domain so that Wise can credit ibanchecker.cash if you open an account. ibanchecker.cash sets no cookie for this and learns nothing about you from the click. Other Sites We Connect You To

Signing in with Google or GitHub takes you to that provider, which may set its own cookies under its own policy. Paid plans are bought on a checkout page hosted by Polar, our merchant of record; Polar and its payment processor may set cookies on their own domains for fraud prevention and payment processing, subject to Polar’s Privacy Policy.

The Product Hunt badge in the footer is an image your browser loads from producthunt.com. Like any image from another site, that request tells Product Hunt your IP address and the page you are on.
